COPA EL JIMADOR: LOS ANGELES

Tequila, tacos, and soccer. Is there a better trio? Last Thursday, El Jimador Tequila in conjunction with Puma hosted a 3 v 3 soccer tournament in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles at Exchange LA. The tri-level club was uniquely built out with EA FIFA stations where matches were projected over a massive screen, several open bars where El Jimador flowed plus a DJ booth where DJ Episode provided a hip-hop heavy soundtrack while Mando Fresko played host.  As you’d expect, at the heart of the space was a small pitch framed by chain link fences built for battle. The soiree attracted several of So Cal’s finest street soccer squadrons for some highly competitive, fast-paced and surprisingly gritty matches.

After hours of feverish and intense soccer, the boys from Crack FC were crowned Copa El Jimador 2017 Champions, taking home the 1,000 prize. Have a look at some of the action in our photo recap below.
