PUMA INTRODUCES THE TSUGI SHINSEI

Avatar

Puma continue to elevate their streetwear sneaker game with their latest. The Tsugi Shinsei is inspired by Japanese sensibility and function. The name translated into English means ‘next’ and ‘reborn’, an obvious mission statement for the silo. The new kicks feature a unique lacing concept for a progressive look and extra comfort. By pulling the lacing along the lateral and medial side of the foot, the wearer is ensured a proper fit. The TSUGI SHINSEI also features a sock construction, nylon padded tongue and textile vamp for an ultra-snug fit. More than its functionality, it boasts of a minimal, contemporary style. Rounding out the shoe is Pumas beloved IGNITE FOAM which offers unparalleled function, comfort and flexibility.

The TSUGI SHINSEI Black and White colorways drop in-stores exclusively on April 14th through Kith stores in Soho, Brooklyn and Miami.

TSUGI SHINSEI Friend’s & Family Release

A Friends & Family iteration of the new TSUGI SHINSEI will be released with only 150 pairs available worldwide. This limited drop is inspired by vintage aviator jackets and military hues. The upper comes wrapped in full olive night colourway – from the knitted sock, padded tongue to the textile vamp. The midsole is finished in contrasting fluo vibrant orange as well as the IGNITE FOAM inserts on the outsole. The TSUGI SHINSEI Friends & Family release will be launched exclusively by Kith on April 14. Minimal pairs will be available at Kith’s SoHo and Brooklyn locations. This release will also feature a special collaboration with Kith Treats, as 50 custom cereal boxes were released last Wednesday, April 12th at Kith Treats’ Brooklyn location. Each cereal box includes a “golden ticket” which grants priority to secure a pair on Friday. A very limited Kithstrike web launch will also occur on Friday at an undisclosed time.
